Time for some clarity
#1 Freedom of Religion
You are free to practice your religion. The government cannot interfere.
The government cannot mandate an official religion, or prefer one over the other. This is known as separation of church and state.
#2 Freedom of Speech & Freedom of the Press
You are free to express you opinions without punishment from the government.
However the government can legally forbid speech that may cause violence, such as “falsely shouting fire in a theatre and causing a panic” (Oliver Wendell Holmes Jr., Associate Justice of the Supreme Court of the United States from 1902 to 1932).
The press is free to publish without punishment from the government.
#3 Right to Assemble & Right to Petition
You have the right to come together as a group, no matter the size, for legal and peaceful purposes.
You have right to ask the government to right a wrong with legal action or other governmental action.
